PayPal is reportedly bribing $15 worth of vouchers to account holders to prevent them from canceling their accounts, that only tells you how bad the situation is.
The Gateway Pundit reported that PayPal will begin fining users $2,500 directly from their accounts if they are found to be spreading “misinformation” in its newly updated policy.

I have 3 brothers and a sister that sell on ebay.
They used to have paypal accounts.
Notice I said used to have....
They all closed their accounts this week
Reminds me of the following attributed to Churchill:
"By its sudden collapse, … the proud German army has once again proved the truth of the saying, 'The Hun is always either at your throat or at your feet'."
That captures a characteristic of the Leftist mindset in a nutshell. If they are able to cement what Paypal is doing, it will be used in the most capricious and cruel manner to punish percieved enemies. The Leftist mindset actually takes joy in doing it.
The minute they get smacked across the face for their cruelty, first is the outrage (feigned or maybe genuine), then the equivocating, then the begging and victimhood if their previous targets resolve is not wavering. A normal person might relent, or think the issue settled, but the Leftist will wait for the next opportunity to inflict cruelty, and perhaps doubly so as revenge for their 'humiliation'. Thats why it is imperative to render then powerless to do so, or have them so in fear of the consequences that while they may think about it, they don't dare try again.
That is what we are dealing with.
>>Phone apps such as Venmo are widespread.
Paypal owns Venmo - so using that is the same thing.
I cancelled my Venmo account today. Already cancelled Paypal previously..
I ran into that yesterday. I deleted all financial data but couldn't quite figure out how to delete my account. There should be a step by step then, 'Are you sure?' then yes and done.
“They say the $2500 was included in the new terms erroneously...”
They lied. What did they have, 100 monkeys typing their little hearts out and this sentence just coincidentally appeared in their policy document? No; a policy maker included it purposely.
” ... and they quickly rescinded it.”
They walked it back only because of the blow-back.
I assume Venmo being a PayPal associate/subsidiary is similarly situated. Anyone know for sure?
Go to your account page, Go to Settings. Scroll down the page and you will find “Close my account” at the bottom left.

Thanks for the heads up, hope it makes it easier for folks.
Thanks.
I read one guy on Patriot who was doing over a million a year in business through PayPal closed his account. At some point, they’ll notice.
Liberals are also taking over law firms. Major corporations won’t hire law firms that aren’t “diverse” so law firms, medical providers, etc. are doing race head counts these days.
“Diverse” is code for no straight white Christan males allowed.
They also love ‘two-fers’ or ‘three-fers’ where they can use one person to check off multiple boxes.
For example, a black Muslim queer who identifies as female (a/k/a her assigned at birth sex) refugee is 100x more likely to be hired than anyone else because that’s a diversity Yahtzee.
I told them I never use it and CENSORSHIP

I wrote that I needed to save $2500.00
They demanded my SSN this week for a $600 transfer. I’m outta there. And why is it that the payee gets hit with fees?
“Private companies follow the ‘rule’ that any organization not expressly right wing will, over time, become left wing.”
Buckley pointed that out decades ago. Conservatives need to use the power of government to FORCE companies to remain neutral and out of politics, and that is EXACTLY what DeSantis did with Disney.
Closed mine yesterday. Today I got about 2 dozen notifications of cancellations of all the companies I had PayPal agreements with. I think they wanted to show me how much I needed them, but I hadn’t done business with most of the companies in more than 5 years. Like, 7 years ago I bought a jar of spice from some company in Japan. How will I go on without that special arrangement we had together?!
Had an account I opened a few years ago. This business of fining users only reminded me to close it earlier this week.
I almost closed it the other day. Now I definitely will.
“They paid someone to insult the buyers of the product?”
We’ve been frogs in the kettle for a couple of decades now, slowly accepting the incrementalism of woke ads and being insulted. We’ve noticed on a small scale but it’s been subtle enough that we accepted it.
Now I make a mental note to purchase items or services (if I need them) if a commercial has a model with blue eyes. I make a mental note to NOT purchase if ALL models are dark skinned, or if the dark-skinned characters are the smarter and better characters.
Jake from State Farm ... when he went from white to black ... that’s when it started for me.
[[*Most* people aren’t that stupid.]]
Um look at how many people voted a second time for .Obama just so they could get them some of Dat “free .obama money” and their “free .Obama a phones”
Thanks but...I had to glance 'bottom right' to find the close my account function. Account closed. I attempted to log back in and was rejected! I didn't get any $15 offer. They did want to know why, I said "I have no interest in listening to your leftist claptrap, signed a former customer."
One must wonder how something like, “we will “fine” you $2500 for saying things we don’t like” was included in anything erroneously. It’s not like a misplaced decimal, a typo, or bad grammar. That was deliberately ordered to be in their by some DIE officer or someone from the Biden administration. That was no error.
Going broke? - Get woke - go more broke.
