RFK Stadium was amazing. Legendary. FedEx Field is a cookie-cutter abomination.
But it sounds like you went through some great times with your season tickets. The George Allen years and the Joe Gibbs years. (I had a crush on John Riggins when I was a teenager.)
You got to see some legends.

I was, at that time a lifelong Giants fan...
Switched. In 1962 when I got my first 5 seats 3rd row from the overhang upper deck, 40 yard line... Also, we were literally sitting with our feet on the Redskins bench and they could hear everything we said to or about them...
In 1963, at the old M street office, I added 5 more, looking ahead to grandchildren... Till they got to about 7-years old, that 5 was used (and paid for) by friends at work...
Also used to ride the Redskin special train to Philly, NYC, and, once, to Pittsburg...
