Interesting... and thank you! I never think of DC being a venue town, but I’ll bet it’s hot with Georgetown!

Thank you for the Sandra comment. I really wish he would have tried. That would have been so exciting had he passed confirmation. Wish he were still here so I could ask him more questions about that. He should have, at least, met with Pres Reagan!

The 9:30 club was always an interesting place to go watch new bands perform. I once saw The Police play there before they became big. 🙂

I just looked it up, and found out that they moved to a bigger venue, in 1996, from the one at their original location @ 930 F Street NW, near the Ford's Theater where Lincoln was assassinated. That was where I would go. It opened in 1980, and I bet it has been 30 years, or more, since I was last there. 😋

It wasn't a very big place. Crowd was maybe 300 max capacity, with a little stage for the band. Nice intimate place where you got very close to the bands.
