Later on in the article it mentions farmers becoming revolutionaries when everything else has been taken away from them.

The leftists are certainly trying.

When the price of meat products skyrockets, the “progressive” government will be tossed out.

You can only conclude the globalists are deliberately trying to destroy everything. First the systematically oppose any form of energy that is remotely practical....even nuclear which has zero carbon emissions.

Then they go out of their way to destroy agriculture too in the name of Gaia worship - New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, etc.

One can only conclude they hate humanity and want to kill off a lot of people.

I fear the Pinkos in charge there will not hesitate to use force to hold power. Deadly force if necessary.

“Climate change,” before that “global warming,” and before that the “coming ice age” went nowhere until governments figured out you can tax this.

Then governments from Germany to New Zealand and everyone in-between got behind this “idea” a “theory” in full force.

It is a theory, an idea where all the predictions have been wrong for 40 years, from temperature to sea level changes. It’s a theory which cannot be reproduced in a lab and all the computer simulations include unexplained variables in order to achieve their pre-conceived idea of what it should be. It’s a theory based on major assumptions and where some of the leading weather models DO NOT AGREE, which BTW is also the case with the ozone hole we were told about. What ever happened to the ozone hole?

Is it science or socio-political dogma?

“Follow the science” has become the battlecry for every charlatan out there pretending to have science (objective rational thought) behind them. Few really do.

Is the lamb at Costco from Australia or NZ? I think the former, but this silliness will affect the price no matter what. I do not view this with approval!

These Climate Change extremists are dangerous.

New Zealand website Stuff reported that the scheme unveiled this week will impose levies on livestock herders, as a means of presumably offsetting the carbon dioxide emissions and other waste products of the country’s grazing animals.

That’s the ticket.

Because we all know that giving money to the government is the answer to all the world’s problems.

I bought an old abandoned farm back in the 70’s only about 30 miles from where Louis Bromfield worked to restore his now famous Malabar Farm . It would not even grow decent weeds when I got it . For the past 50 years I have ran a herd of burping , farting , pooping , and peeing ruminants on this land and now it is an ecological miracle of greenery , once decimated , but now with weeds that when I choose to let a pasture grow are 16 feet tall , and soil rich with bacteria and worms enriching the soil and holding it in place so the rains can penetrate the ground water reservoir . The fertility has been enriched by the grazing and this farm is now a legitimate miracle on earth . During the worst drought of my lifetime , 93 I believe it was , I took an airplane ride over the county to see the scary cracks over the entire state of Ohio . My farm remained a verdant green and stood out like the jewel that it is in a state that seldom ever has a serious drought . All thanks to poop , pee , burps , and belching of said ruminants . There is nothing better for agricultural land than ruminants .

I visited NZ not too many years ago.

2 Islands; creatively named “North” and “South” Islands. I spent my time in the less populated, more natural beauty of South Island.

Spoke to many farmers who were Conservative in nature and bitched about the liberal a-holes ruining their country.
