Glad hockey is starting, as the Texas Rangers limped out of their woeful season [ironically, they have had worse in recent years].
Did watch the Seattle/Houston game. Seattle led from the beginning, but I stuck with it, even as Seattle mounted 7 runs. Bottom of the 9th! SLAP, a 3-run home run. Astros limped out with a 7-8 win.

Wake me up when my Flyers no longer suck. You may have a long sleep as I see no sign of the Kate Smith statue being restored any time soon. What a total piece of ka-ka by the Flyer's management over the outrage that 2 insulting tin-pan alley songs were recorded by Ms Smith in the 1930s!
