We shall see. Russia has withheld 80% of its experienced forces in preparation for a fall (read frozen ground) initiative.
80% in reserve? Why the mobilization then?
Actually.. no it hasn’t. The bulk of Russia’s forces are spread throughout that 11-timezone landmass.
Russia has withheld 80% of its experienced forces in preparation for a fall (read frozen ground) initiative.

Before the war the Russian Ground Forces (RGF) (the professional & “experienced”) soldiers were 280,000. Naval Infantry (more professional & “experienced”) troops were 20,000. Over half of them were committed to the excursion in Ukraine. Half of those are now dead.
Given that Russia needs troops on it thousands of miles of border, especially in the Far East and south Central regions, where are these additional troops that are professional & “experienced” coming from?
LOL, no.
Russia could grind this out, but they won’t. No one wants to die for Putin’s machismo. And waiting a winter while Ukraine gets stronger thanks to the whole world giving them weapons (and the Ukes finish their own bikes) would be suicide.
Putin is in the avoid-Mussolini’s-fate mode. That’s why he moved his mistress abroad.
He’s a survivor, so he’ll probably do something to nominally save face and then fade away to his dacha to count his money. Will work until someone finally poisons him.
Russia needs to stop this and realize it’s actually enemy is China who is laughing. Lucky Covid has them all bottled up still or Russia would have a murky front war.
Where do you find this fantasy fiction? For real.
Because everyone knows that fighting is easier in frigid, weather conditions than warm weather.
Russians are stronk and immune to frostbite.
Do you really believe that Putin has withheld 80% of his experienced force for 8 months?!?! If they really exist, why did he have to resort to a mobilization of 300,000 over-aged, over-weight, and ill-trained reservists?
