Fort Wayne, Indiana Mayor Tom Henry admitted to drinking and driving after he was involved in a car accident Saturday night, according to a statement from his office. “Mayor Tom Henry was involved in a motor vehicle crash late Saturday," a spokesperson for him, John Perlich, said in a statement to NBC News. "Upon arrival, officers determined that the Mayor appeared to be impaired. After tests were conducted, that was confirmed.” Henry apologized in a tweet Sunday morning, taking full responsibility for his actions. “I want to apologize to the residents of Fort Wayne and my family for the poor decision I made to get behind the wheel of a vehicle after drinking at a local function," he said. "I’m relieved that no one was hurt in this incident. The Fort Wayne Police Department handled this situation with professionalism and followed all of the correct procedures and protocols.” It's unclear as of Sunday if Henry was arrested and what charges he faces. The Fort Wayne Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

HE IS A DEMOCRAT!!!!
Well of course, the MSM always leaves out party affiliation, if its a democrat.
That’s a clue, when they don’t mention the party you know it’s Democrat.
Similar if a criminal is “a youth” or “a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt”.
The Fort Wayne Police Department handled this situation with professionalism and followed all of the correct procedures
And of course, him being the mayor, will have no effect on this case going forward. His being mayor will not impact the legal violations, penalties, hits to his driving record, or any other effects. Right???
The Mayor is a Democrat, but the county Prosecutor is a Republican.
Undoubtedly professional courtesy will be extended.
When the party is not mentioned it is mentioned by omission. Just like “The gunman was described as 5 9 brown eyes black hair scar on left cheek race unknown.”
He owned up to it, admitted his guilt, and accepted responsibility for his actions.
Democrat or not, it seems like he did the right thing. (Piss-poor reporting notwithstanding.)
At least he was not one of this “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!” democrats.
