Not sure if anyone here has noticed but the QUALITY of employees has GREATLY diminished. If you call the local power utility, you can expect to wait on hold for at least an hour before someone decides to pick up.

I did this last Friday because one of my former tenants turned the power OFF instead of having me transfer it to my name.
I talked to someone in which it was obvious that they recruited from a “depressed area.” He asked me the same scripted questions several times as most his most likely drug addled brain could not handle the information. He was very slow in speech and slurred his words. Probably had a 2nd grade reading comprehension level.

Turns out he NEVER put the service request in the system after all and I had to call the following Monday to do it all over again.

I understand technically yes, but it skews reality.
He’ll eventually lose his house if he doesn’t get “real work”.
So it’s not good news at all.

Numbers never lie, but liars use numbers.

3 or 4 million Illegals entered this country this year, a few million last year, of course this will increase the number employed.

What it does not count is the cheap labor increase from these illegals stealing and depressing salary growth. The Establishment both Dems and RINOs are getting what they want, a bunch of cheap labor that is destroying the rest of the labor force and driving up home costs.

I wouldn't trust any number claimed by the very corrupt (imo), alleged election-stealing federal government, especially right before an election.

In fact, contrast latest federal employment number with growing Sacramento homeless population just a few months back.

Sacramento's homeless population soars by 67% in three years and is now HIGHER than San Francisco while robbery rockets 42% and rapes nearly double amid drug taking epidemic (7.9.22)

Don't federal numbers typically get revised in disappointing ways, especially when Democrats are in control?

Insights welcome.

I would like to know how many are underemployed.
Engineers, MBAs, etc doing shit work.
How many are going backwards economically?
How many are maxing out their CCs?
Two metrics don’t tell the full story.

Increase of 200,000 jobs after almost three years. Yeah that’s quite a record.

158,936,000 ... The previous record, 158,735,000, was set in December 2019

Maybe not. usdebtclock.org says 159.642,131 for the year 2000.

It’s going to take 5-6% unemployment to kill inflation.

What poppy cock. In the middle ages doctors used to bleed sick patients. Same idea.

To be fair it’s a lot more than that since he took office.

Also to be fair, he didn’t have much to do with it.
