When the covid happened, Vegas (Sisolak) shut all the casinos down. When they reopened, they cut their prices and the quality of people cruising the Strip went down dramatically.

I was in Las Vegas last weekend and I saw no price cuts you reference. I stayed at a resort hotel where they were charging $150 just to get a pool chair that had an umbrella for some shade! “Free” (well, a $44/day resort fee) chairs were in the full sun.

(I had a GREAT time in Las Vegas though. Saw shows and exhibits and ate and drank well.)

RIP to the dead and I hope the others recover. So sad.

Last time I was there around 10 years ago it was getting pretty skeevy.
Seen some recent vids that convinced me to go to the Maine coast instead..
