PARKLAND, Fla. (WPLG) – The 39-year-old principal of a charter school in Parkland is facing criminal charges after she allegedly brought two guns to school over the summer, Local 10 News learned Tuesday.
The guns were discovered on the campus of Somerset Parkland Academy K-8, located at 8401 University Drive, on June 2.
According to FL law firearms are not allowed on school campi (thanks elRushbo for pointing out the proper pronunciation 😀😀) even with a CCP, and even if the firearms are are stored in a lock box out of sight in a locked vehicle. That’s why if your carrying and get pulled over, DO NOT stop on any school grounds! Instead find the nearest place to safely pull over.
Thanks for that clip. She looks absolutely adorable. I can’t imagine the “two staff members” who “found” her zipper bag and opened it. What the hell? Were sniffing dogs involved? Did she blab at some time or other?
There’s got to be more to the story of how her pieces were discovered.
Yes, she needed to have been far more circumspect and discreet. Yes, one gun should have been sufficient.
America, once the home of the brave, is now the home of the snitch...
Just ask many of the J6 prisoners...
Mos def.
Not whole lot of information here.
Sounds like to me, some liberal DA is patting his/herself on the back for stopping an otherwise legally possessing/carrying (possibly even with a conceal carry license) citizen from violating some law that would prevent her from having a firearm where she, heaven forbid, need it to protect her or those around her.
Unfortunately, with the little info we have, it’s made out to infer that she had ulterior motives such as planning a school shooting massacre - during the summer.
DA will probably get a medal . . .
Double not guilty.
Hot AND a 2A supporter.
Indeed!
Why is this a crime?
