On June 15, 2022, a Racine County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing it speeding in Racine, WI. Upon approach, the deputy noticed four children in the backseat when the vehicle only had three seatbelts in the back. The parents appeared to be argumentative and were ultimately given several citations.

“just run of the mill criminals”
But that’s what Antifa is. The ideology is a veneer at best.

No. This is not that forum. Yes. This is that forum.
This is not the forum that looks down on my parents who crammed 7 of us into a '61 Lancer with no seat belts.
We crammed 8 into a 61 Olds 98. Those days are over. There are a LOT more cars on the road, flimsier cars and more accidents. Keeping children safe is part of a parents job.
You are defending a couple who continuously flout the law. Good job!

But that’s what Antifa is. The ideology is a veneer at best. For some, maybe, but there are young idiots who swallowed the lie and believe whole-heartedly that they are fighting for "freedom" from fascism.

This is the forum that wants to bring a lot of aspects of those days back, including the Olds 98. I was safer in that car than most children are attending a compulsory public school.
There is no such thing as having "more children than you can afford" if government doesn't get involved, people are charitable, and the family learns to do without.
This is NOT the Margaret Sanger site. BTW, even if we played by those pretend NON-FR rules, sometimes comfortable people with large families fall into bad times.

You are still defending a couple that continually flout the law and started a shooting riot at Kenosha that got 2 people killed and an innocent kid arrested. This thread is about criminals being belligerent with police, not the good old days.

I am defending equality under the law. I have known families with 12 children who could not possibly fit all the mandated car seats even in a full-sized van. If they get stopped, I don’t want them to be asked if they have drugs or weapons in the car.

I agree with your assessment on the extraneous questions. The purpose of which was to delay them while the computer runs their paperwork and ID, looking for warrants and bolos that match. I wouldn’t trust the speedgun numbers either.
They became argumentative only in response to the repeated questions because they knew it was a tactic and where it was headed.
Seatbelt laws require that they all be in use, not that there be enough for all occupants. Otherwise, it’s poverty discrimination essentially disallowing larger families the ability to travel.

You've just missed the whole point of the thread. Congratulations!
As I told you before, the officer called it in, was informed who they were and encountered immediate belligerence. Attitude gets you attention. They are now being held on $100,000 bond each for a knife-point robbery. THAT is who you're defending.
I won't respond again.

Is that family on the dole? I don't know but they do rob people, at knife-point.

So THAT’s how the illegal alien runners on the southern border don’t get cited....

You answered originally:
Isn't this the forum that tells people on welfare to stop having kids if you can't afford them? Doesn't that apply to anyone/everyone? If you can't afford a van, stop at 3 kids, right? Or are we hypocrites?
It looks to me that you missed your purported purpose of the thread, and also misrepresented what FR is. You don't need to answer back; you only repeat the same straw man.

No. She’s married to Joshua Zaminski, the guy who started the crowd chasing Rittenhouse by firing his gun in the air.
