murky depths of Lake Erie
last I was there you could stand in water to your chin and count yer toes
steelhead trout and coho salmon are running now
Didn’t Lake Erie catch fire once, it was so polluted?..........................
I was going to post also, it hasn’t been murky (except for storms and spring heavy runoff) about for 30 years. The zebra mussels cleared it up, to the detriment of some species. Grew up on the Detroit River at the mouth of Lake Erie so have about 50 years seeing the river change.
