One of the YouTube “genres” seems to be “Reaction videos”.
Often, this is a young person (or more than one) watching a movie like “Star Wars” or “The Lord of the Rings” or whatnot. It can be fun to see someone be shocked to discover the identity of Luke’s father.
But many reaction videos concern music. And it seems that a number of reactors are Rap fans who have never listened to anything other than Rap. But, for their YouTube channel, they sit and listen to ... Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Emerson Lake and Palmer, there are many options here over the past 60+ years.
And the Rap fans are always shocked to hear real music and they like it.
It's also funny to watch any female reacting to Bobby Hatfield singing Unchained Melody. Regardless of age, race, whatever, the reactions are all the same.
I watched part of one of those where some black kid listened to “Close to the Edge” by Yes and completely freaked out. His brain wasn’t ready for what he was hearing.
Factoid..."vader" is Dutch for "father".
