you have to be willing to fight for your rights. If you aren’t willing to lift a finger in your own defense after getting literal trillions of dollars in equipment, training, and cold hard cash nobody’s going to do it for you. In the end the Afghans didn’t put up a fight because this ‘tragedy’ that the media is showing us is exactly what they want. Arrogant westerners on both sides of the aisle need to get over themselves and realize not everybody wants to live like them in gigantic concrete cities with transgender bathrooms, 10 recycling bins, and thousands of woke social justice laws. Some people are perfectly fine living a simple life of goat herding and sharia law and if they want it so badly who are we to deny them?
The mistake was for the US to come in and spend an untold fortune in blood and gold in some mad quest to try to transform it into San Fransisco on the desert
The USA made3 mistakes in Afghanistan. The initial response in 2002 was correct but then
1. The USA should not have allied with Pakistan. Pakistan screwed us over and kept al Qaeda in safety.
2. The 2nd gulf war should have happened. Better to have taken on Pakistan, killed Osama and destroyed the Islamic nuclear bomb.
3. The USA should have then left in 2005. Let the Tajiks, hazard, Uzbeks, parthians etc break into separate countries. India and iran would have kept them in check
2nd amendment ping.
