Nobody charges to 100%…it takes forever and damages the battery. A quick Google search shows that the time for a normal charge on that vehicle is 10 hours with a Level 2 charger. The article is complete nonsense and drama for no reason.

Well, dinodino, you might want to take the time to watch the video, which can be accessed through the article.

While watching that video you will see that he has a 240v charger and that it would take 24hrs to charge. He shows it. Clear as day.

With regards to damaging the battery at 100% charge, WTF does that mean? Buy a car because you’re GREEN. Charge using electricity made at a fossil fueled power plant. But don’t charge it all the way, because you’ll damage the battery that you just paid an obscene amount of money for. Only charge to 90% and you’ll get even less driving time. But, if you do charge it to 100% and wear out the battery sooner, you’ll have to drop as much as you paid for the car for the new battery. Hmmmmm.

Sounds like a bargain.

So an EV will never live up to the mileage claims made by all you virtue signalers. What a sick joke. 100% charge damages your battery? Another sick joke. I mean, you're already riding atop a Roman Candle and in prepping for a long trip and now to get the bang for your buck, each time you fully charge it is like adding another round to the chamber, sticking the pistol to your head and pulling the trigger. It's just a matter of time before your cylinder is full. The notion that 'nobody charges to 100%', is hog swallop.
