Oh yeah, everyone has $86,000+ to buy one. But, fear not, the US Government is going to forcibly take money from the US taxpayer and help out those that can afford to buy one of these things to the tune of $7500, plus billions more for charging stations the grid isn't set up for.
Green, the biggest worldwide scam in history.
YUP!!!!
safe AND effective
And Green! 💚
$80K+ ...And days and days not using it to recharge it.
Go woke, go broke.
(Green, the biggest worldwide scam in history)
Now, THAT’S an Inconvenient Truth.
SO, only plug it in on long weekends.
It will be fine, I am sure.
And I’m betting, if he had one, was using his gas powered car all day, during the recharging. So much for having a green EV.
Stupid should hurt.
the last percents of charging are the slowest part by far.
It is common to only charge to 90%, for this reason and also to avoid premature aging (dendrites) for the battery.
Yes, there is such a chat room. DUmmies!
So he doesn’t get to use it on the weekends. No taking it out to eat or run errands or maybe go to Sunday Brunch with the wife?
Sorry honey, we can’t go anywhere this weekend, the Hummer is charging.
I’m not a huge EV Fan. I’m kind of neutral, but come on 120volt hook up. Everyone with a brain knows that will take forever, that’s why people get special outlets installed to charge their vehicles at home.
But until they go 600miles range (like the Tesla Roadster supposedly does)...you can count me out. 600 miles is about how far you can drive in a day. Of course with autopilot I guess you could drive 24x7 if the battery would allow you. LOL.
But then you still have to plan your route to stop at hotels with chargers and pray they are available.
It just needs a 480V hookup
Actually the 120volt is the slow part for this idiot. If you spend that kind of money on an EV put a real charging outlet in your garage.
If you watch the video he plugs in the 120 to show how long it takes.
He then uses the 240 charger he had installed. 24hrs for a charge.
Clean, Green electricity generated by dirty coal.
He did have a 240v charger in his garage
The guy must be an effing idiot. Only an idiot would attempt to charge on 120v.
