My back of the envelope projections expended from more than a week ago:

Wisconsin: Johnson will win by 4 or better.

Nevada: Laxalt has the momentum and better than +1 now.

Georgia: Herschel Walker is now ahead and will win barring fraud or October surprise.

Arizona: Masters has the momentum, has the Spanish vote or enough of it, will win.

Pennsylvania: although not mentioned in this post, Pennsylvania will be won by Oz who is closing fast and has the big Mo.

North Carolina: in the bag.

Alaska: "Republican" wins

Result: Republicans with 53 in the Senate or more if wave election.

“Data for Progress polling has been used by journalists from the New York Times, Washington Post, and hundreds of other trusted news organizations.”

LOL!

I’ll throw my hat in the ring.

It probably won’t matter, all that much, if these “new” Republicans win, which I’m praying they do, but I’m thinking he’s worried about his leadership role and the fact that he probably isn’t going to be able to ‘control’ them.

If elected, time will tell, but this batch could show up in the Senate and become the Senate version of: Gaetz, Greene, Boebert, Gohmert, etc. He doesn’t want that.

He already has enough on his plate with Rand Paul. If some of these potential new comers, come to form a bloc, not the “go along to get along/RINO/GOPe” group that dominates the Senate, McConnell is going to have some issues. All those folks are seen as “Trump People”. McConnell doesn’t want them around.

How Ronald Reagan would handle Mitch McConnell:

McConnell is an agent of the deep state/great reset. He has maintained his franchise in politics by dispensing the same fake “opposition” of the fake Republican “leadership” that has now brought us to the abyss. He and his ilk are belching out the same soporific fluff that, they hope, will confuse the red blooded Patriots one more time; President Trump has had enough of his greedy duplicity and has finally called him out for the stool pigeon he is. The Chinese own him, and he is not alone. Christmas is coming so let’s all be like Santa Claus: makin’ a List, and check in’ it twice, I’m gonna find out who’s naughty or nice.” Make a list.

Masters is calling it in here. He has no money. No campaign ads. No presence. Few know who he is. Kelly, on the other hand, is wall to wall ads. McConnell won’t give him money because he is a Trump guy. Masters is hoping dynamo gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake can pull him over the line

The NRSC is playing chicken with Peter Thiel since he funded Blake Master’s primary campaign, so they expect his Super Pac to fund Masters all the way thru the general

Truer than you know. It wasn't an "unintended consequence" of McCain-Feingold that power to control campaign funds was concentrated in the Party leadership. Absent that egregious bit of legislation, McConnell would have no power to do this.

Combine your math with being content with a slimmest of majorities with as few unmalable consertvatives as required, and the Turtle’s actions would make sense.

Any division between 48-52 and 52-48 is likely satisfactory enough in his mind, though within this range he would prefer the majority AND the most controlable caucus obtainable. 55 including not only a handful of people ready to lead change, but also many people willing to implement change if obtainable, and a realization that the “big tent” becomes meaningless if it includes everything AND doesn’t need to include everything would not be a happy outcome, I believe, in the view of the resident overlords.

Yes, a slim Republican majority leaves the Republicans in the Senate vulnerable to the likes of Mitt Romney who will eagerly play the role of Joe Manchin tipping or threatening to tip every critical issue toward the Democrats.

That is a situation not to be feared by Mitch McConnell who will use it to compromise the country into submission to China and to the deep state, always claiming the need to compromise in order to keep "comity"less we fail to pass the next funding resolution etc.

I appreciate that so many people are keeping the faith. My outlook is less pollyannish. Look deeper than the elections and the “hope” that we can regain. The globalists have effected a coup across a number of western powers, the most notable of which is the US. There are judges in the US refusing to hear anything about election integrity, including our own SCOTUS.

I believe the Democrats are low energy and putting up complete dumpster fires for candidates, because they intend to wrench the election theft to 11 and break off the knob. They know they’ll have air cover from the media, the FBI will silence dissent, and no Americans, regardless of arms, will try to stop them.

Get out and vote, but don’t be surprised if November is “razor thin.”
