I highly recommend Metaxas’ book on Dietrich Bonhoffer. The Left tries to steal Bonhoeffer, but he was a strict constructionist on the Bible, despised theological liberalism, and saw the dangers of pacifism.
Antitheists cannot prove, or even rationally posit, that an exceedingly vast, well-ordered, systematic universe, exquisitely finely tuned for earthly life with its extensive diversity and astounding complexity, came to be by known, purely natural demonstrable powers, and without any supreme supernatural intelligence behind it.
To believe so means that one must have great faith in nature, as if it was Divine
And yet such also arrogantly willfully presume to judge the choices of an omniscient and omnipotent Being, who thus knows what all the effects will be, small and great, not only in this life but for all eternity, of even the most seemingly insignificant actions. And can make all work out for what is Good, in justice as well as in mercy and grace, which the God of the Bible promises to do. (Romans 8:28) Justly punishing those who want sin over what it good, darkness over light, and thus often reject conscience and guilt, and the need for forgiveness from God, and His means of providing it.
Thereby showing mercy and grace to whoever will admit their sinfulness to God, and turn to the Lord Jesus from sin, and receive Him for did everything Right, and then took responsibility for all we did wrong, and paid the price for our forgiveness with His sinless shed blood. Thanks be to God!
To sit in judgment upon such a being is to presume omniscience, though I may ignorantly irrationally protest some of His choices in my pain.
