There was a dispute between two realty firms where the sheriff, who was a friend of the owner of one of the firms, did a SWAT raid on the other firm.
Weaponization of SWAT teams is filtering down to personal issues, as well as political.

Little doubt that this “megadonor” had complete control over this sheriff and his fiefdom. Yet the control does the megadonor little good if the sheriff turns out to be a total idiot.
