Hi.
Smart moose.
You cannot legally dismantle or shoot into a tree stand (blind etc.).
Had a deer squatting in my duck blind once. And yes, it bit my sister.

Animals vary by species. Im no expert on moose and dont see anyone giving moose specific numbers. Its a deer and other deer lose about one third so...960ish?
Smaller than average for a bull. Hopefully for the hunter that means it was a young one.

Of course you lose a lot more once its fully processed but a small amount of that total loss can be recouped by prepared hunters rescuing some choice parts that others may leave behind. In my case with other deer that would be tongue, heart, liver, and kidneys.

You make cheese from milk, so no. Don’t even try it with a bull.

Many long years ago my oldest brother attended a small Catholic college in Charlotte, NC. We'd dropped his girlfriend, (now my sister-in-law) at her folks in Wilmington and were heading back to Charlotte along a very dark country road, when we came around a bend and there were two NC State trooper cars that had the road blocked off. Apparently a horse wandered off someone's property and got hit by a semi truck. Man, what a mess that was!

Sounds reasonable. It’s impressive an animal that size only went 30 yards. It’s blood pressure must have dropped like a stone.
