Major brands are weighing the option of boycotting Twitter after a Reuters investigation found their ads appeared next to tweets soliciting child pornography, while the leftist tech company insists it has “zero tolerance” for child exploitation. Some brands, including Dyson, Mazda, Forbes, and PBS Kids have already suspended marketing campaigns on Twitter, according to the report.
A Reuters review of data from cybersecurity firm Ghost Data found ads for major brands appearing on Twitter alongside tweets that sought or promoted child pornography, including one user who tweeted “trading teen/child” content, as well as “13+” content and “young looking nudes.” Such content is grouped under the general term of child sexual abuse materials (CSAM).

From outright censoring and advocating censorship to now tweets soliciting child pornography. Twitter has really slid down the proverbial toxic cancerous toilet. Thankful everyday I or wife never opened a Twitter account.

No, no, no; this is all just a terrible misunderstanding. Those weren’t kiddie ads. Those were the results of searches individuals in those companies (Dysen, Forbes, etc) put thru Twitter for kiddies in their neighborhoods.
Kinda like going on eBay looking for a tool.
It is just in this case the “ads” got incorrectly published.
It works like this. Drag shows are sponsored all over the place by outfits like ChicFilA. There are Twitter folks in each with cameras running to help ID vulnerable/impressionable kiddies. Such are posted on Twitter where company execs can post bids. The winner of each bid is then sent a communication — which is where this foulup happened.
