EV’s are terrible for the environment.
Fires - actually many forest fires are recently caused by EV battery exploding.
Fires are virtually inextinguishable, firefighters have special training how to handle those. And pollution from fires - see above.
Massive mining and manufacturing pollutions.
Massive hazardous waste generated.
EV’s are small vehicles, but very heavy due to the batteries, so they are not even energy efficient.
Basically, their only feature is to shift some of the pollution out of the sight of the snowflakes.

Car accidents will cause more harm due to the vehicles being much heavier. Also the batteries will fly around like missiles. Cause of death: AA battery embedded in victim that was in another car a hundred feet away.
