“And here we are, with a global political class composed of Caligulas.”

Yep, absolutely... I wish the scope of general scrutiny was better at seeing the true bigger picture. And they are successful because we are imiting our own perspectives. We don’t chase it far enough up the pyramid.

I often wonder if it is because we just refuse to believe any human or group of humans could be so cruel and scrupulous. Do we hold too much faith in basic human compassion which limits our perspective and full realization? If so... We are gravely mistaken.

It’s just a tiny piece of the puzzle — but I think part of the problem is that after WWII we convinced ourselves that “Hitler was a monster”. And it’s true: he was a monster ... but people are monsters. Human nature is very flawed. It’s not a “Hitler” problem, it’s a “people” problem.

The solution is to NOT give a lot of political power to anyone and to NOT let the public be lied to.

The US has certainly failed in a big way. Our government is far too big, too rich, and too powerful, and it controls the media and lies to people all day long. It’s monstrous and millions will die. Again.

We think that Alcatraz should be a museum, instead of a functioning prison.

We will have insane asylums again - or all live in one.
