Most people would have realized their mistake before posting on social media…
I have not seen any wolves in the wild but it looks like one to me from all those nature shows on PBS I have watched.
I wonder how those wolf steaks tasted…./s
The wardens instantly recognized it for what it was. It was an old Forest Service mule that had been set free when it could no longer do its job. It even had a "US" branded on one hoof. They said not a word and waved him goodbye.
Probably an old wives tale, but a good one at that.
That is a small Husky. About 75 lb lighter than a wolf.
It looks mildly similar to a wolf but nothing even close to “like a wolf”. A wolf is generally twice the size of an average husky. In fact a wolf is generally twice the size (or larger) than most medium or even some larger sized dogs. TWICE THE SIZE.
That woman is a sociopath.
She said it was a pup.
But the collar it wore might have been a giveaway.
This is sickening. Sad for the Huskie. :(
Wolves are skinnier than you think. Popular conception has them beefier than they really are.
Not much bigger than a big Malamute.
I've seen both up close.
A dog in the wild is a wild dog.
Of course, if you don't live in or near the wild, you may have misconceptions about the things that live there.
Like Two Socks in A Dancin’ With The Wolves. I heard a roughneck out on a rig call it that once.
I’d do the same. Funny how when you complain to neighbors about their dogs chasing your stock and killing calves. “it’s not my dogs. I keep ‘em up”. You shoot a couple and “Someone shot my dogs did you shoot my dogs?” Just passing on an incident that happened to a friend.
I’ve slung some arrows at some on occasion but they are hard to hit on the run.
Wild pack of dogs with parvo; she may as well have shot them all.
No; she makes herself look STUPID, my vision is starting to go but even at 200 yards I could tell that’s a DOG!
“she posted “This animal was growling howling and coming at me like it was going to eat me””
Yeah.
Sure it was.
CYA classic.
Huskies “talk” all the time and usually it sounds like a growl and howl.
All over YouTube, videos of them.
Butcher bitch.
So there was, in fact, a pack of potentially dangerous animals. the Animal shelter will probably euthanize each one of them but, OH NOES, a woman shot one.
Does not even remotely resemble a wolf.
Coloration, skull shape, etc.
Only a fecking idiot would mistake a Husky for a wolf.
Or a psycho.
The skull shape is entirely different and it has the classic Husky facial markings.
Next, she’ll “mistake” a bearded dude for a young Bigfoot.
