It looks mildly similar to a wolf but nothing even close to “like a wolf”. A wolf is generally twice the size of an average husky. In fact a wolf is generally twice the size (or larger) than most medium or even some larger sized dogs. TWICE THE SIZE.

I've seen both up close.
A dog in the wild is a wild dog.
Of course, if you don't live in or near the wild, you may have misconceptions about the things that live there.
