Ford did it with the Taurus about 20 years ago. Stupid move.The models they stick with are able to be constantly improved so that they can remain competitive. Take the F-150 or the Jeep Wrangler, or the BMW 3 series etc.

I guess they already know or are pretty confident that the ideology of the current White House admin is going to be the same in 2025.
Pres Trump, if I’m not mistaken, is on record stating that EVs shouldn’t be getting any special treatment or tax incentives. Have to stand on their own.
