It does not matter how badly she did against her opponent in the primary, she still got 50K votes. Where did they come from? Agreed she has no chance of winning anything, but this is clearly not her strategy. In an era when elections in swing states are decided by one or two percentage points and thus direct large block of electoral votes one way or the other, knowing from where she draws her votes, few though they may be, is critical.

President Trump still won 10 million votes in 2020 as an incumbent more than he won in 2016.
