I’d love to live in NY but only if Rudy were mayor.

She’s in the PRoHC (Peoples Republic of Harris County) and that has all of the crime and Rat politics she can want. Not much different from her wanna be utopia, just warmer.

Houston hasn’t had a republican mayor in 40 years. Been going downhill ever since.

I was wondering when somebody was going to point this out.

uhhh.....New Yooo-awwwk-ahs are a lot less safe than Texans - even those stuck in Houston. Part of it of course, is that Texans are armed and the bad guys know it while those stuck in New Yooo-awwwk are just defenseless prey. The other part is that Texas does not believe in turning lunatics and violent criminals loose.

“DEADLY 2022: Houston leads Chicago, NYC, and LA in homicides so far this year

“If it keeps up this pace, we’re going to be well over 500 murders this year,” said Houston Police Officers’ Union president Douglas Griffith. “I have family here. I grew up here. It’s one of those things, I’m fearful for my family, just to go out of the house.”

Griffith believes the rise in violence across Houston is mainly the result of two issues. He says HPD is very understaffed and desperately needs to hire additional officers.

In addition, Griffith believes court judges need to stop letting violent criminals out of jail on bond.”

Crime is extremely local. I’d guess parts of Houston - particularly the melanin-rich parts - truly ARE dangerous. But if she was in a trailer park in a small town of Texas, she’d be pretty safe.

In Arizona, the corridor running along I19 to I10 then on north to Phoenix and turning west to LA is dangerous. Lots of crime due to lots of drug running. If you are 3 miles or more away, your safety goes WAY up. Move into a Trump-loving small town, and regardless of color, you’ll be very safe!

Her future grandchildren will be a lot safer in Texas. They might even get out of the womb alive.
