went from 3.59 to 4.15 overnight. Any where else seen this??..
Paid $3:09 last night in Columbia, TN.
“Went up about 25¢ overnight in L.A. areas. Suspect more is coming. Biden puppeteers and sycophant brain dead democrat voters are trying to kill business infrastructure.”
That’s odd given that the price of oil has been dropping for about 80 days straight. Some suppliers may have missed their guesses when they bought their futures. The gas you buy today was priced weeks/months ago. And no one wants to believe the winter blend thing but it’s real too.
spectacular pictures...beautiful.
She worked for southern progressive lawyers & crooks (splc), so she is commie to the core.
Wayne County, Michigan is a pretty big trucking hub...gas prices are usually the lowest in the Mid West...rarely see a 56 cent jump...the refinery fire in Toledo makes sense now...
It opened around $80/bbl this morning. That’s down from well over $100 not that long ago. Oh, the old, “well we have it but the refining is the bottle neck” routine no doubt. Plus fire at a refinery in Ohio, summer to winter switch coming..... And for us, it all has to be trucked to our locale. Or rail cars.
My theory is that gas prices are being brought down in areas where there are close elections, and going up everywhere else. I’m in California and we’ve seen a 40 cent increase in the last couple of weeks.
ive always heard that the closer you get to the “Gulf” States...Louisiana etc..the cheaper the gas price...seems like its true...
All the time, they’ve just been screwing with us for over a year.
Last week one station was selling gas for $3.37/gal and right across the street a station was at $3.89/gal. And yes, some dumbasses were buying it!
Interesting theory. I’m paying around $2.80/gal near Atlanta.
The vote counters voted it down. What actual voters may have marked on their ballots did not matter in the slightest way.
off topic...but to me, Louisiana has always been the most fascinating, interesting and mysterious State in this country. I drove old U.S. 23 all the way to Venice..right to the mouth of the Mississippi River. Empire..Buras..Boothville...at times i felt like i was on mars....just an awesome place...
A usually reliable source told us not to fill up gas until a week after Labor day. He said that gas prices could drop 10 to 20 cents per gallon.
Instead it went from $5.10 / gallon to $5.70.
We needed gas and a car wash, so on 9/14, I opted for the $5.70.
Yesterday, it was $5.95.
“Hurricane in the gulf.”
LOL! Tampa Bay. I just filled up, $3.23
Two refinery fires nearby. We’re all going to take it in the dirt pipe until they repair.
FJB.
I saw $3.079 at a Wal-Mart station in Myrtle Beach, SC last night.
Thank goodness Joe Biden has saved us.
Our fellow voters voted it down because they’re stupid and fell for the same old “voting yes will lead to cuts in law enforcement and fire fighting” schtick.
The good news about this is that the simpletons who welcomed a big drop without remembering that prices are still well above 2021 levels will get a fresh reminder before the election of the results of the administration’s policies
Same here in Orange county, CA.
Cheapest here is 5.45 this morning for regular.
