This should not surprise anyone.
Several species of bats are known reservoir species for viruses. We don’t even know precisely why that is. It may come down to bats having a high metabolism resulting in higher body temperatures which may be just above the point where a virus can get a systemic foothold.

Oh, thank goodness… it’s Russian bAts. At first I misread it as RUSSIAN BOTS. I’ve been accused in recent months of being a Russian bot since I don’t support the Globalists’ Ukrainian war project. So I worried that I may now be accused of harboring a vaccine resistant Coronavirus.
