This still amazes me an aircraft can operate in an atmosphere that makes the top of Mt Everest seem “thick”.

It was actually a 3-day delay from the 32nd flight to the initial report on the 20th.
The flight log records that flight 32 occurred on Sept 17th, Sol 561 which was Constitution Day.
It's an interesting round up of data because the first flight was on April 19th, 2021 (Patriot's Day)
561 is the Hebrew note sum of do re mi fa sol la si do.
The complete octave, like how this year's end in a couple days, is the end of the 7th Shmita year cycle after the reunification of JerUSAlem.

This incident occurred on the 10th anniversary of The Day the Music Died, no less:
On February 3, 1969, Funt, his wife, and his two youngest children boarded Eastern Airlines Flight 7 in Newark, New Jersey, with a destination of Miami, Florida. While en route, two men hijacked the plane and demanded passage to Cuba. However, some of the passengers, having spotted Funt, believed the whole thing to be a Candid Camera stunt.[8] Funt repeatedly attempted to persuade his fellow passengers as to the reality of the hijacking, but to no avail. The plane later landed in Cuba, finally convincing the passengers.[4] Funt and others were later released after 11 hours of being held captive.[8]
