Yup! Had some folks from Germany that couldn’t grasp how someone with a suspended drivers license ‘could’ still drive. “But, but, but zey haf no licenz so how can zey drife”. It’s a mind set thing I guess. Just following the rules. 😎✌

It ALL started with the Boston marathon bombing and they saw how Easy it was to lock people down!

Bingo! I remember a whole neighborhood succumbing to rolling home searches, no warrants, and the occupants willfully marching out
their front doors, arms held high.

I laughed when Tucker Carlson came right out and said that COVID and the associated COVID lockdowns was not about public safety, that it was about submission and compliance.

Some business owners (like me) had our best years ever in 2020 and 2021 -- because we refused to shut down while our competitors were compliant morons.

How did you avoid the threats of fines or loss of licenses/permits for non-compliance?

Never had to deal with that. Most of my work is done at project sites and in my own office. I traveled extensively in 2020 and 2021. I was working on one big project where I was supposed to be working with a client’s staff at a project site. Their lawyer drafted a document with all kinds of daily testing requirements and indemnification clauses and told me that my company staff wouldn’t be allowed on-site without signing it. I told them (gently) that they’d be better off keeping their staff home and letting me and my people do 100% of the work instead of 50% of it. They were actually thrilled to do that — probably because they were dealing with Branch Covidian employees who didn’t want to leave their homes.

reminds me of the Poles (or whoever) that weren’t scared when their brakes failed on a hill becasue there was a stop sign at the bottom of it...
