Found this at the thrift store today one end appears to be a 26 pin female from what I can count and is a pushsnap connector and the other end is a parallel 25 pin/DB25 male.

Pics below.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info trying it now so far no luck beyond a shaver head replacement and some other odds and ends but not a cable end.

I’m telling you. It is an fjb-1000. Joe needs it. Obviously disconnected at this point.

Just had to repair a 25 pin dshell serial printer cable last night. It looks like connectors I’ve seen used on drives.

Many a time some of these with good gauge wires are very good for control signal purposes.

Many printer cable were 26 or 28 gauge wire and break easily. The older, thicker, ones that are 24 or 22 gauge are great. I stay away from any solid wire, must be stranded.

Just push it. Push harder if you feel resistance.

Back in the old days, there were just two genders.   Plugs looked something like this...

“Looks like it may be an old printer cable”

The other end has the printer connector.

How much spent for this?! If you have more money, I will dig up lots of useless old cables. SCSI adapter candle, IDE, maybe a 3.5 in floppy drive. Bet I can even find an old 5 inch floppy drive.

I guarantee that in 14 years someone somewhere will need one of these, and the only reference they can find on the internet will be these pics.

Probably his name will be John and he will have traveled back in time to get an 1975 IBM 5100 computer.
