“I would have asked to see the signature and I would report it to his boss.”
Have you tried to call FedEx lately and get any customer service? Even talk to a human? Let anyone who has a clue how their own system works when you do talk to a human?

Quite aggravating, is it not?
One of their dimwit drivers bent the rain gutter on my house. He never said a word and I only noticed it a few days after the delivery. I tried numerous times to talk with someone using their automated phone system. What finally worked was when I said “Driver” the I finally got an English as a second language representative. He took my info but I never heard back from them.
I would rather never to receive packages shipped via FEDEX. UPS is much better IMO. Another pet peeve is FEDEX will either lay packages in front of my overhead garage door or lean them against it. Someday I will surely back out of the garage run over a package.
I had a set of tires left leaning against my mailbox - 200 feet down the driveway from the front door - a little woodsy area but we can't see the mailbox - luckily I got an email notification, was home and went right out. Been awhile, don't recall the delivery service.
Hope this helps.
I'm going to check with the sig on file issue with UPS, Amazon and FedEx. Thanks.
