Yes, they are an invasive species from people buying them as pets and then they get loose and breed like rats.

They eat up peoples gardens and landscaping and rest in trees.

When the weather turns cold, they, being reptilians, literally freeze to death, and fall out of the trees!................

That is wild stuff. Also heard they harvest them and eat them.
