What is the GOP is doing wrong? Democrats understand communicating with later generations: frank crudeness, intensity and anger, social media and free streaming services, the blame game. It works. Results: Obama elected twice and Biden once.

High rent, low wages, no job security, high cost of living, high crime, substandard health care, lockdowns. It's terrifying that many Millennials and Zoomers are receptive to Biden's message.

Democrats have controlled education and culture/entertainment for decades. Leftist messages from these are heard and seen constantly by younger folks. Conservatives need to control education and culture to affect change.

I was almost a kid when I registered Ind.
Of course I didn’t have a total handle on how things work back then.
I had a sense things were not as they seemed.
But had no idea just how much things were off.
And since brandon more off by the day.
BTW I think a lot of today kids must have a sense something is seriously screwed up.
Sort of like when kids sense when there is something seriously wrong with their lefty parent(s)

Young people should also understand that a single person is typically a poor person.

Two people can split an apartment or mortgage payment 50/50.

Young people need to know how to make a marriage and how to make a marriage last.

It’s the economy and entirely about the economy. The party and candidate that addresses this solidly wins.

Low inflation, cheap gas, readily available healthcare that doesn’t cause a single citizen to go broke regardless, a solid stock market that goes steadily up, health care companies and universities reigned in and watched like the crazed, looting, thieving scumbags most of them are:
nuts and bolts, dollars and sense. If it can’t be measured it doesn’t matter. THAT is what will win the next generation.

The business of America is business- the measure of success is how well the poorest and most disadvantaged citizen is doing.

A cranky .02

“It’s terrifying that many Millennials and Zoomers are receptive to Biden’s message.”

Biden is President because of student loans.

High student loan balances probably got him a few million extra votes.

They key is marriage and religiosity—those groups, regardless of age, tend to vote conservative.

So marriage and religiosity need to be encouraged.

Also—young men need to vote their own interests more instead of voting as their girlfriends and moms do (I say this as a mom of 3 young men myself—two of which are GOP; one is a Dem but is marrying soon so perhaps there’s hope there.)

“The left has the upper hand.”

And most of us have two feet.

My mother moved from New York State to Florida.

Many countries would be happy to have 10% of our incomes.

Yes I love the “success sequence” (which if followed means less than a 10% chance of being poor in the US): finish high school, get a full time job, get married, have children. In that order only. Very simple!

“readily available healthcare that doesn’t cause a single citizen to go broke regardless”

I have suggested Medicare multiple pricing.

Providers would charge their posted selected multiple of Medicare pricing - say 1.35 or 1.5.

If Medicare would pay $16,000 for an operation and the hospital posted a multiple of 1.5, the bill to you would be $24,000.

The GOP doesn’t communicate to anyone other than using a middle finger and sending out Lindsay Graham

In the old days 12 units/acre meant garden apartments. Nowadays developers will build what they call villas.

The young folks to the east of put in a pool. He is an arborist and she is a charter fishing boat captain.

Nick, my neighbor to the SW, is having a swimming pool put in (slowly, as the swimming pool contractor has lots of work). Nick does software development management has teams working around the globe.

When the GOP did run a single ad showing democrats LITERALLY BOO-ING GOD at their convention, I knew it was true they were the stupid party.

It’s obvious that they don’t care. Most of the long term GOPers only care about their own personal enrichment and elect leaders so focused. Yes, I’m looking at you Bitchy Mitchy, you soulless turd.

The bigger question, which has been the big GOP question for decades, is does the GOP know how to communicate, period. As for the older generation of GOP representatives, that answer is definitaely no. However, from what I have seen in the younger generation of recently elected GOP representatives, better communications from the GOP is building now.

Homeless encampments are there for everyone to see. The left talks about directly helping them in ways that won’t help-sure feels good though. The right talks about how tax cuts are the answer without addressing the issue. Trump says build tents on the outskirts of town and apply services. No one on our end supports the idea that would at least enforce existing vagrancy laws.

“No one on our end supports the idea that would at least enforce existing vagrancy laws.”

And no one talks about the degeree to true mental health problems are a significant part of the homeless population, and how to deal with that, as a matter to deal with on its own, which would go some way to lessening the homeless issue.

VA election was a clear sign. People that had never voted got involved and turned the state red. Parents are PO’d. Get them out voting.

Half the kids today don’t even know how many stars are on our Flag. The other half believe the three branches of government are, Democrat, Republican and Independent.
