I remember seeing an old OLD political cartoon of a black worker telling his wife he has gotten a great job! Next panel showed him laid off because of his color.

Now it is in reverse.

I also remember another cartoon from the 1960s showing a row of white men in line at an employment office. The manager looks over them and points to the only black man way back and says...”It looks like YOU are next!”

Looks like we are there again.
