They would find cruise boats that are at the end of their productive ‘careers’, and some monthly rental fee would be in the deal...maybe a captain and basic crew to operate. Chow would be probably limited to some cheapo situation.
I would imagine right now, there’s probably twenty vessels to fit this description and easily dispatched to NY City in a matter of a couple of days.
New York City couldn’t handle that many ships. It isn’t the port it used to be.

I’m sure the cruise lines have spare ships right now, and this is a good way to make a little cash. Well, probably a lot of cash. During the Gulf Wars, they had cruise ships for R&R the troops in Bahrain and Dubai. I turned down a 3 day pass on the Cunard Princess because, well because I had a lot of work to do. I’m sure the cruise line was making a mint from us.
I doubt it. The illegals would probably sue over it, and win. They would then have to be provided 1st class housing. Who knows for sure?
Somehow the government would find a way to pay more than what it would cost to actually send them on a cruise with all of the food and drink that come with it.
