“Alberta holds its own,” said Manitoban Rutkowski.
The province has a storied history with the mystery, including the country’s first reported crop circle dating back to 1967 near the town of Duhamel, 100 kilometres southeast of Edmonton, which was investigated by federal officials, he said.
One of the more recent cases filed on the Canadian UFO report database dated Nov. 7, 2021, describes “a camouflaged triangular craft with three lights (that) suddenly went off in separate directions” over Calgary.

Last March, after receiving decades of reports of drone or UAP sightings over Canadian nuclear power installations in several provinces, Manitoba MP Larry Maguire asked Deputy Minister of Natural Resources John Hannaford if he was aware of them.
Hannaford told the standing committee on natural resources he wasn’t, but that “I can say overall security of our nuclear facilities is obviously of extraordinary importance.”
He also told the committee he’d “certainly take under advisement” Maguire’s suggestion that Atomic Energy of Canada consult with its American counterpart over its similar experiences with UAPs.

What type of UFO was it, a grainy or a blurry?
The UFO pilot was a little gray guy who had an anal probe in his hand...and was asking for you by name.;-)
Hmmm, Alberta leads in UFO sightings and the leading cause of death is “unknown.”
Correlation? Cause and effect?
Swamp gas.
I drove my girlfriend and myself and another couple down to a dirt road famous for the Cogdell light.
We parked for a while and then gave up. As we were leaving, it followed my car for a while down the dirt road.
Since cars back then didn't have spark arresters, I wonder if the methane from the swampy area nearby was drawn into the vacuum created behind my car and then ignited by the auto exhaust.
Scared the hell out of all of us.
It was big (about 10ft in diameter)...roiling flames.
I had a chance to see ball lightning when I lived on my parent’s acreage. I don’t remember how it disappeared on my, although I’m sure it didn’t explode.
It just floated from the ground to above the trees.
Perfect description of the TR3B Manta.

56 Buick hubcap this time.
Nobody seems to notice we are being fed this baloney about UFOs from governments as a distraction.
Silliness
Whoa!
I love stories like that!
I wish I had used that excuse when taking dates home late.
"We went to see the swamp gas at nine...and, the next thing I know, it's eleven o'clock and our clothes are on backwards."
Everyone thinks that is a possibility. You're the only one who thinks that is a foregone conclusion.;-)
Was it saucer shaped?
Or,maybe it was the Enterprise time travelling, again?
Pretty sure that aircraft carrier pic is fake. There’s no way the Navy would let that photo out unless they had an ulterior motive.
Notice that the shadows under that craft are not at the same angle as the shadows of other objects. That one is a proven fake.
I agree.
Oh well, DOD would be stingy with releasing pictures, so thinking of it of an artist’s rendition.
I am a believer in UFOs, but that top image has been shopped. The lighting and shadow angles are different from the surrounding items. I have however seen some of the TR3 that were realistic. This one is not a good representative image.
Yep... I just went and put it on a drawing program and the angles are way off.
