During the Rittenhouse trial, video evidence showed that Josh Zilinski was the guy who fired the intial shot in Rittenhouse's direction, immediately before Kyle was forced to shoot convicted child molester Joseph Rosenbaum when he tried to take Kyle's gun from him.
Zilinski is STILL not charged for firing his gun at Kyle (which most folks would call assault with a deadly weapon), or even negilgent discharge of a firearm.
The contrast between the treatment that these criminals got, and the Jan 6 protesters tells you all you need to know about the sate of the criminal justice system.
