A 77-year-old man was attacked and killed Sunday by a wild kangaroo that authorities believe he kept as a pet at his home in southwest Australia, police said. His death marked the first fatal kangaroo attack in Australia in 86 years. A relative of the man found him with “serious injuries” on his property in Redmond, a semi-rural area about 250 miles southeast of Perth. Investigators believe the kangaroo turned on him and attacked him hours before he was found by his relative.

I can’t watch videos of people playing with supposedly tame wild animals. Stupid, stupid, stupid. They’re wonderful “pets” until they aren’t. I adopted a foundling relatively young cat. We get along great but sometimes he gets “triggered” and I get scratched. Two seconds later he’s a lovy bunny again. At ten pounds that’s okay. Imagine him at two hundred pounds.

We have learned the hard way not to trust anyone or thing named Joey. Too bad he didn’t learn that a little earlier.
We have a female Chihuahua that recently had pups. We call her the Kitten because she is much more feral than her father. She is very “cat like”. She was very Omega. Flighty.
She is very fierce now. Very protective of those pups. Any noise in the house sets her off.
Now I call her Scary Kitten
