Right. Who does that. Really. I smell a rat.
Hey, it was protected by a five dollar padlock! One provided by the club.
Yes, who takes a watch that expensive to a gym and puts it in a locker?
I doubt if that ex watch owner gets his 30K Euros.
Most gyms with public lockers have signs posted saying they are not responsible for thefts or property damage to stored items. In addition, who says he ever had such a watch in the first place? Maybe he’s attempting a quick shake down based on a few well told lies and idle threats.
Nope.
Either too stupid to own a $30k watch or a big risk of insurance fraud.
He’s stupid enough to leave that in a locker? He should have at least had it insured against theft.
Precisely. What an idiot
Yeah I realize that someone who has $30,000 to spend on a watch has the freedom to do so. But, a $30 watch from Walmart works just as well. I question the judgement of this guy on every aspect of his life choices. From purchasing the dang thing in the first place, to wearing it to the gym, to leaving it in a locker with a cheap lock provided by someone else, and for letting the world know how stupid he is by admitting all of the above.
How many people were assaulted with bolt cutters in the U.S. last year?
Certainly fewer than were attacked by people wielding tennis rackets!
So tennis rackets are, in fact, more-dangerous weapons than bolt cutters, and should hence be banned on the premises of health clubs.
