In a normal world, yes. But in today's world where the left dominates the message, the news today will proclaim that inflation has gone down and our economy is sound. There is no recession, and even though prices went up from last month, the rate of inflation from Aug 21 to Aug 22 was less then the inflation rate from July 21 to July 22. That is how they're presenting it, and the dummies that get all their news from their twitter feed will see "Inflation is down". They will believe Twitter before they believe their own bank account.
