During his opening monologue today, Fox News host Tucker Carlson outlined the history of the Biden administration targeting the democrat political opposition by using the Dept of Justice and FBI. [Direct Rumble Link] During one part of the lengthy segment, Carlson outlined the recent subpoenas to people within the MAGA movement. WATCH:
The technique most often deployed, is for the DOJ/FBI to claim an anonymous source has provided information against the subpoena target, and therefore the target must prove their innocence against the “sources” claims.
Having received one of these DC subpoenas directly, my experience with the construct leads me to believe the DOJ is just making up the “anonymous sources.” However, if you refuse to participate in the bizarre demand to prove your innocence, the lack of cooperation becomes the Lawfare angle used to entrap the target. The process is something like this: It is unlawful to rob banks. We were told you rob banks. Prove you do not rob banks or be subject to arrest for being unresponsive.
It is not quite impossible to construct an accusatory claim that is grounded in abject absurdity, but it is highly unlikely these absurd claims -factual lies without any basis whatsoever- would organically lead to the origin of DOJ investigations. Yet, this is what Merrick Garland’s DOJ would have us believe. Either the DOJ is making this stuff up, or affiliates in ideological alignment are making stuff up in order to feed the DOJ. Regardless, the political weaponization of the DOJ and FBI as described by Mr. Carlson is absolutely accurate.

What would the left have done if Trump had politicized the DOJ/FBI in this way against them?
It could not have happened. Trump was never in a power position where that would have been possible. The DOJ/FBI were always lined up in opposition to him. He gave orders, they laughed behind his back and gave him the middle finger.

I know, it was a hypothetical question. I know that the FBI would not do it for Trump. But what would the left do if this WAS done to them.... just like they are doing, but in reverse? I cannot imagine the hysteria.
This is sinister, evil, Stalinistic tactics by the Democrats who are supported, as always, by their lackeys in the fake news media.
The Dems & media are claiming that patriotic, Constitution-revering patriots who just want to bee left alone are the equivalent of domestic Al-Qaeda.
Patriots have a lot of work to do in cleaning up the cesspool that is Washington, District of Corruption.
I pray that Democrat election theft is thwarted in the mid-terms and that the Republicans who are elected are patriots of action.

So Tucker is our last gasp media hope for the truth of this Biden abuse of power. Not one mention of this abuse elsewhere.
Called my State AG office today. Told them to get the Feds out of our state. Forbid local and state law enforcement to give support or aid even in extremis, and if they can’t boot them out entirely due to the Supremacy Clause, then stick a uniformed detail of State Police on every Fed operating in our state to defend our rights. I mentioned the Night of the Long Knives. He said, “We’re aware of the situation but we have not yet come out with an official policy.”

Looking back on the French revolution, even Robespierres, who controlled the guillotine at first was one of it’s last victims.
The lesson learned was that no one, or group can control tyranny once it is released.
He doesn't seem concerned, but while reporting on all of these DOJ/FBI abuses he's got to see they consider ANYONE fair game.
I'd hate to see him muzzled.

I could not find anything about Tucker personally getting subpoenaed for Jan 6.
