This is for larger drones, the type the Chinese will send to swarm opposing troops and naval vessels. It should provide a bit of understanding about how difficult it is to defend against drones. Most of the measures are high tech and would be expensive. (Not sure how much a surplus military Radar unit and associated wave guide and antenna cost, but it probably is not cheap!)

Little mosquito drones; Screens and mosquito netting would be effective against the tiny drone until you open the door. Live in windy places....Live in big places far away from roads. Any battery that powered those mosquito drones would have limited range. I do not think those are places these would be deployed. It would probably be in a setting where the operator would be hidden and still direct the drone, someplace like a stage or ballroom or auditorium.
