“Big Cola” are big Democrat donors, so they are good with putting actual CO2 in their products.
I suspect that if “Big Tabaco” were big Democrat donors instead of Republican donors we would all be hearing about the “healthful benefits of bathing your lungs in cleansing smoke”

I’ve joked about the same thing.
...thing is - maybe we should actually be serious about it and petition to ban beer. It might expose this lunacy for what it is. ...beer would be a deal breaker.
