A scout team (AKA taxi squad or practice squad) is a group of players on a team whose task is to emulate future opponents for the featured (or starting) players.
They usually dont get much real game time.
A bit of a thankless roll on the team.

Practice squad where you run all the upcoming opponents plays for the varsity to practice against. Basically you get creamed every play in practice by the first stringers. Builds character.
