Well what do you know. Super rare spelling of Oona, lamb. That actually creates more questions that it answers. Mostly now about Jeff Wayne and whether he was putting some odd British humor in War of the Worlds.

I came across the name in a set of books that I read in the 60's, The Lymond Chronicles, the character was Oonagh O'Dwyer.
