Wikipedia cannot be trusted on anything political/ideological. Probable examples would be Global Warming, Presidents Trump, Reagan and Nixon.

However, not everything is political and/or ideological. Wikipedia is probably reliable when it comes to the periodic table of elements, or the Pythagorean theorem.

It may even be reliable on matters that may have had an ideological role, provided that they no longer have an ideological role. Was the yellow-brick road in the Wizard of Oz an argument for or against bimetallism?
