Let’s wait for the Tesla salesmen around here to tell us why it won’t be any problem...

The Lithium in batteries can’t be economically recycled?

All recent EV batteries are bar coded to allow automated robotic disassembly

I think they should all be stored in the homes and garages of Public Servants

Stated it since the very beginning on FR: anything you plug into an electrical outlet is an appliance, not a car.

U.S. President Joe Biden wants to make America a key player in the EV battery industry Senile Joe's puppeteers are children. They don't have a clue about this.
Remember the curly-cue mercury bomblets [CFL bulbs].

This is an area where I think the problem will find a solution. If there is money to be made by recycling the batteries, recyclers will be generated to meet the challenge. Unless environmental/business regulations or perverse incentives get in the way, eight years is plenty of time to meet the challenge.
For the record, I see EVs as a niche vehicle if it were not for the heavy hand of government regulations, especially CAFE standards.

There were law suits over three watt cell phone EMI / RFI causing cancer. Exactly what do they think sitting on top of a 4000MW battery for hours at a time is gonna do to you? The entire vehicle wiring harness is a giant loop antenna transmitting 100db H fields at all kinds of harmonics.
My pacemaker manual says I can't run a battery powered weedwhacker without harm. I think that covers EV's too! According to the chart I have in the manual I can't go within 6.3 meters of a charger or the batteries.

Look at the end of the article. Someone else has to plug and unplug the chargers. The problem isn’t the pacemaker and the pacing to your heart. The problem is the interference causes a factory reset in the programming of your pacemaker. If it detects interference it goes into a safe mode, which is not what is your operating programm.
